You are aware that idly and pizza are fluffy.

Dosa is crisp

Why the difference?

Idly and pizza are made from dough fermented overnight.
This creates air bubbles inside which makes them fluffy.

Also, they are either cooked in steam or baked.

Dosa, on the other hand is shallow fried...that is cooked in oil on a pan, which makes it crisp.

The second thing is pizza can be made with different toppings, which gives it different tastes, just like my wig gave me a different look.

  1. Excellent Sir!. I myself finds it interesting before I teach my kid. Glad to be able to learn from you again :). My kid is showing lot of interest when I put forth your questions, though he argued with me that Milk in Glass shall cool quicker if you put a Fan :)
